The benefits of commercial window tint are enormous. By rejecting up to 78% of the Sun’s radiant energy, cooling costs are cut dramatically in the Summer, while reflecting energy back into the building, which would normally be lost through the glass in Winter, reducing heating costs. Rejecting 99% of UVa and UVb rays from the Sun will nearly eliminate Solar fading of furnishings, displays, and finishes.
Multiple universities around the country have been studying how to improve worker productivity. They have found that a comfortable working environment can do more than make workers happy it can make the more productive, as well.
One new study from Cornell University showed how office temperature can affect worker performance. Commercial window tint allows employees to work in a more comfortable, less expensive environment by rejecting the sun’s heat, glare and damaging UltraViolet rays, while maintaining a consistent temperature in the environment year round.
Another study showed that consumers were more apt to purchase goods or services when they were comfortable in the building they were in. Medical patients were shown to be more compliant when they felt invited and comfortable in the environment they were in.
